I had to pay for damages to the rental vehicle after it was driven by someone else!

I am being held accountable for damage to the rental vehicle even though it has been driven after I dropped it off at Lanseria Airport! The first red light was that I was only informed about the damage 36 hours after I dropped it off. Luckily I took a picture of the odometer, and on closer inspection the report stated a different KM reading from whe I dropped the vehicle off! Be very careful off this company, not only did they stop communicating after I've sent them a picture of the odometer reading, they also made an unauthorised deduction from my credit card. No email, no invoice, nothing!
