Falsified claim

<p>I rented a vehicle with Southgate Tempest branch. The vehicle was not 100% in terms of appearance; visible rusted dent, scratches & other ‘minor’ dents. The inspector marked ‘major’ attritions of the vehicle on the check sheet…</p> <p>During my travel I hit a port-hole & had to change the tyre. The rim & wheel-cap had no damage, just the tyre with a 1-2” inner-tear. I reported the incident with the Nelspruit Airport branch & they requested I bring the car & get another car. </p> <p>The inspector at the Nels branch was unpleasant; his attitude was totally unprofessional & just ‘doing his job’. We both inspected the car & he insisted that the ALREADY marked attritions were a result of the flat tyre incident. I clearly indicated on the inspection sheet that they were already marked. </p> <p>I could sense he wanted to be difficult & even caused me kneeling to look underneath the car! He wanted to add all previous scratch & dents that have already occurred.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had taken full/super cover waiver including tyre & glass damage. The claim report/incident has me liable for previous attritions on the vehicle. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have contacted the Southgate branch & received one returned call from them promising to get back to me. The customer service was not helpful either. I challenged the Southgate branch to speak to the inspector who handed over the car & look at the surveillance where he clearly pointed out the sill damage on the driver rear side.</p> <p> </p> <p>THIS IS DAY-LIGHT ***** & ********!!!!!</p>
