I rented a vehicle from Tempest in Cape Town and dropped it off in Kimberley. The vehicle was signed off by the Tempest official and there was no damage to it. Now a month later they call me and say that I need to pay R12 000 because of "internal damage". What nonsense is this!!

I have had EXACTLY the same experience. Got the car in Cape Town, dropped it off in Kimberley. Signed off, deposit paid back, then a month later they phone we and say I need to pay an extra R11 000 for "internal damages". I obviously ignored them, now they have handed me over to collection agents! I will NOT take this lying down. It seems this is their SOP to try and ****** more money from clients!
