Compliment for Bhekithemba - King Shaka International

To whom it may concern: I should be writing to you to complaint about the service I received on Saturday, 30th April at the King Shaka international, but Bhekithemba turned the situation around. The manager on duty, even though polite, seamed helpless and did not show any concern for my situation based on her past experience. I had booked a car using the rentalcars.com system. Firstly, my booking did not appear on the system, I requested the supervisor on duty to assist as I was already in Durban, so we can resolve the matter. She seemed not to know how she would assist me and also indicated that there is no relationship between rentalcars.com and tempest, which is not true. I would not want to dwell on this issue though. However Bhekithemba is really a rising star and possessed leadership qualities. She was empathetic about my situation, took full responsibility, remained open minded, she listened, she tried to make contact with rentalcars.com, but was not successful. She then further kept on searching for my booking until it was located on the system. She called the depot to find out if there was no car they could use on my behalf...i can go on and on. These are the qualities I expected from senior staff or management, which were really not evident on that day. If you have an opportunity to develop this individual, I would recommend that she is ready for the next level in the service industry. Really well done and thank you to her, she saved the day.
