1 Star agency

I had 2 issues with the above mentioned company, but I'll talk about only one. I had a rental through them for 1 month started on May 6. I though that I had a great deal at that time, but I discovered later it was a 'trap', at JNB branch they handed me the key and asked me to go and search for the car on a specific aisle number, I asked if someone can show me the car and they advised that there's no need for that since it's ready to go. When I arrived there was a gentlemen showing a guest his rental and walking him through the car. I'm visiting a University so the car was parked all the time at a closed garage, at the return date they told me that there's a dent which was not on there system, and I told them I don't know what is in your system, and this maybe before my pickup, it's a very small dent on the top of back seat passenger side window and it was the first time I noticed that dent. I have no problems at all telling them if it happened with me, but it was absolutely a false claim by them, they asked me to sign and I rep**** that I'll not sign anything so the gentlemen over there told me sign that it's not your fault, and that what I did, and then they just charged my Credit card with R4500, it's been a month now with there claims department and more than 10 days with there Messenger account but with no answer, they are just ignoring it totally. I have a rental now with a different company, and that what they did before picking up the car, showing you what is there, I have also another 3 colleagues who was thinking to get a hire from Tempest because of the cheaper rate and I advised them not to do.

Bottom Line, avoid them, and don't think ever to deal with this company, go and read the reviews here and in TripAdvisor, you will notice same reviews with the same technique they are just a 1 star rating company, I'll check how I can file a complain with the rental agency board and report it as *****.
