that hospital is hell

Subject: A long and healthy life for all South African

Good day.

I write this with broken heart I lost my sister in one of the government hospitals and when I look at the slogan or vision of our health department I wonder if this will ever happen.

How many people die in our government hospital and how many complaints do you get daily and how many are being resolved, our health system is failing us as the citizen. The day I complain to the department it was the day my sister died it means we must keep quite even if we see the wrongs, the way some of the nurses treat the patient it is choking, there are patient that you can see that need special care yet they are kept in a normal ward, my sister condition was very bad she couldn’t breath on her own and she was neglected and she had to go alone in the bathroom ( that state of those bathrooms were so bad I don’t know how they expect patient to get better under those conditions) what if she collapsed there with no one to help her , today nurses are not called to serve they just do it for money that the reason we see a lot of death in our government hospitals. Life don’t matter if you don’t have money to go to private hospitals you are hopeless. My wish is that the Minister of health can appoint people to go and check the hospitals making sure that all is in order make time and speak to the patients making sure that all is well nurses should be well trained and put people life at first even the dr themselves should do that. Not only visit the hospitals if the is a complain. Follow ups were done with the hospitals and they covered their tracks as usually and protected the own my sister died and she has been forgotten, and with us its not the pain of losing loved one is to deep and we might not have evidence as they do but the God that I serve will fight for us one way or another my sister death will not be in vain that I am sure of who ever was responsible for her death in Tembisa hospital that place is living hell they will never find rest or peace that I promise.
