Tembisa Nursing Staff

Tembisa Hospital servive from the nursing staff as well as the security guards has been absolutely shocking. Firstly after being turned back multiple times as I wasnt considered an emergency despite having complications at 5 months pregnant and being referred by the local clinic, then finally being admitted to a ward 13 that has no beds and patients are told to share between the benches and recliners that are in the waiting area of the ward for days wiith no assurance of a bed. Nursing staff are in no slightest way compliant to Covid regulations, not only in that ward but from Casualty itself. There is no regard for social distancing, sanitising nor the proper usage of masks. The food is served using the by hand and patients are giving bread by hand to hand to other patients. Food is served in a manner that is an even greater covid risk that not wearing a mask. The doctors really do try but the nursing staff really try to paint them with the same brush. I ended up signing to leave the hospital as the conditions are even more sickening.
