********** SERVICES
I've had my car which is a golf 6 gti for more than 3 years now and recently took it to Bosch Temba in Midrand for repairs on wiring as few months back I noticed rats in my engine and decided to put cayenne pepper so chase them away which was unfortunately late as they already chowed some cable and my car battery would get consumed overnight and would wake up with a flat battery in the morning and will have to ask someone to jump start me.
So I decided that my car needed wiring repairs so it could stop chowing the battery overnight and took it to Bosch Temba auto clinic for repairs... My car was starting when I took it to Bosch to drop it. Few weeks later they called telling me that my car ECU is faulty, and they quoted me R9000 for it on top of R4000 for the wiring repairs.
Asked how my ECU is faulty when my car was starting when I dropped it as it the car wouldn't start if it was faulty... A week later had to go tow my car from them as they started telling me that they will start charging me for storage.
Took the ECU to ECUXpress as I needed proof to show them that they are the ones who damaged my ECU as my car was starting when I took the car in. Paid R450 for the ECU diagnosis and the report came out saying that the ECU was short circuit which means it got damaged during the wiring repairs, but they don't wanna be held responsible for it as they keep telling me that my car wiring was bridged and car had oils to show that someone has worked on the car before. It is really frustrating to get such ********** service as my car is now parked without moving because they don't want to fix it as they damaged the ECU.
