Teljoy sucks when it comes to helping people in a bind.

I became unemployed in the month of February 2020. I informed teljoy that I was unemployed at the last phone call I have received from them. Since Feb I have been without a job. Now I have the opportunity to start my own company. I did the work and even employed six people. Then I tried to open a business account because the company I did business with did not want to pay the money into a personal bank account but rather a business bank account. So I tried opening an business account at ABSA. everything went well, ABSA took all the details of the business and I was even issued a account number for the business. On the day when I was supposed to pick up the bank card my banker informed me that the account have been declined because I was listed on the ***** LIST. My banker informed me that it was TELJOY who listed me as a *********. So long story short, I could not open the account anywhere, my employees had to wait two days for their salaries since I had to make other arrangements for the money to be paid.

Is it even legal to list someone on the ***** list without notifying them? Should it not be in court first and then after judgment to be listed as a *********. Now my business is suffering because I cant make payments and cant receive payments.

What can I do? Can I fight them in court for wrongfully listing me without notifying me. I did tell them that I was unemployed and that I will start paying my account as soon as I get employment. The stupidest thing is that with that first payment that I would have received I would have been able to bring my account up to date. The first payment I would have received was R37853 and my installments were only +- R8000 in arrears.
