Teljoy - ******* ***** LISTING

I "rented to own" equipment from Teljoy for a number of years. I was burglarized in 2016, a TV and Microwave that I was renting from Teljoy was ******. Teljoy assured me their equipment was covered by insurance in my monthly premium in any case, however, I did still open a police case and I do have the police case number.

Now, 3 years later I have app**** for a new occupational role, only to be told by a credit verification company that Teljoy-Film Fun Holdings have listed me with a ***** LISTING. Type of *****: Misuse of account through ********** conduct; sub-category: evading liability (i.e confirmed ***** NOT bad debt) and furthermore the details of the incident are listed as "absconded with asset".

I am absolutely livid. Firstly, the items that were ****** were listed as ****** with both Teljoy and the SAPS. Secondly, my ******** Record came back clear. Only a JUDGE can declare me a ********* and I was not once, in 3 years, contacted by Teljoy, although they had my cell number, work email address, private email address, home address and work address.

I want this ***** Listing to be RESCINDED COMPLETELY by the end of the day today, as well as a confirmation on their letterhead of their negligence on their part and an apology for defamation of character. I was humiliated and embarrassed in front of my new employer and I may well lose this job because of this incident.

Should my requests not be met, I will be opening a case of defamation of character as well as holding them to task on calling ME a *********, when to me it seems that they, not me, are the **********.
