Reporting False Information To The CREDIT BUREAU!!!!!
Reporting False Information To The CREDIT BUREAU
As I haven't held any credit against my name in a few years, I have finally started to make credit to start build up my credit score again.
I am on a debit order with Teljoy, the debit order showed on my bank account but it didn't go through and I was not aware of this. As soon as I saw it didn't go through, we made an EFT payment to Teljoy and called customer support to tell them I made the payment. I also paid more then the actual debit order.
Teljoy reported to the credit bureau that I have not made payment for that month and it reflects very badly on my credit score. I gave you guys a month to correct this by leaving it.. But this month when I pulled my credit score, it still shows that I missed the payment for that month.
I have emailed Teljoy with absolutely no response from them.
I also saw a few other people complaining about exactly the same thing.|
If you are thinking about opening an "account" with Teljoy to help build your credit, think again!!
Worst customer service and and accounting side seriously sucks and need to get proper training.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Please note that credit bureau reporting is based on the account status at the time of reporting, including whether a payment was successfully received and allocated before the reporting cut-off date.
In cases where a debit order is unsuccessful, the account may reflect as unpaid until the payment is received and correctly allocated.Since you have made an EFT payment and provided proof, this matter will need to be reviewed against your account and payment records to determine whether any updates or corrections are required. We will escalate this to the relevant team for investigation and feedback.
