Poor service - cancellation fee
I had a rental contract with Teljoy for JBL partybox and Packard Bell i3 laptop. Since the start of the contract ( September 2023 ) had problems with laptop. I had the laptop in my possesion since the contract started 3 days of which it was not working. The other times it was in for repairs. The last straw was after returning the laptop to me after 2nd repair in November 2023 it lasted a hour ( startup ) and was gaken in for repairs. It was returned to me in January 2024 of which it lasted an hour ( same problem ). I was fed up as I was paying dilligently for t months for a laptop which I never used. Telkom refunded me minus a R1000 cancellation fee because of contract being cancelled less than 6 months after inception. The laptop was never in my possesion in a working condition but had to pay the full installment where as now money was deducted from the refund ( cancellation fee ) for a faulty device which was issued to me. I am not leaving it like this because I'm being penalised for a device which was never really in a working condition but I had to pay full installment every month.
