Lack of customer service

I need this resolved today. On 1 June 2026 I was told my PS5, collected for overheating 5 May 2026, would have feedback in 5-7 working days. It’s now 9 June 2026 and I’ve received zero updates, zero calls, zero emails. This has been the pattern for over a month: 1. *No communication* unless I call you. 2. *Broken promise*: Told a supervisor would call regarding “no stock”. That call never came, yet you’re actively advertising PS5 specials. 3. *Debits continue* while you fail to deliver the service I’m paying for.

Per the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Section 56 + 20, goods must be of good quality and repairs/replacement must happen within a reasonable time. A month+ with no feedback is not reasonable.

*I’m requesting one of the following by close of business 10 June 2026:* 1. Immediate replacement PS5 delivered, or 2. Full refund + cancellation of the debit order, + refund of debits from 1 June 2026 while the unit was in your possession.

If I don’t receive written confirmation today, I’ll be escalating to the National Consumer Commission and sharing this experience publicly, including the contradiction between “no stock for repairs” vs current PS5 specials. I’ve been patient. My kids have not. Please treat this with the urgency it deserves.

Hello Claude

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the delays, lack of communication, and the failure to provide the updates that were promised to you.

We understand your concerns regarding the time taken to resolve the issue with your PS5 and acknowledge that the level of communication you have received falls short of the service standards we strive to provide. We also understand the impact this has had on you and your family.

Please be assured that your concerns have been noted and we would like the opportunity to investigate the status of the repair, the feedback provided regarding stock availability, and the servicing timeline. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding the ongoing debits while the unit is in our possession.

We will escalate the matter to the relevant management team as a priority and request that they urgently review your case and provide feedback on the available resolution options.

We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to address your concerns.
