Having to pay for repair from own pocket

Our house was struck by lighting last week Monday. Our laptop stopped working even though it was plugged through surge protector. I phoned Teljoy as we rent the laptop through them and it still paying the contract.

I was informed that due to lighting that it is not covered and they will fetch it but we will have to pay for the repairs. I am now sitting with a laptop that doesnt not work and paying a monthly rental for it. I refuse to pay for the repairs as I do not see why I have to pay it from my own pocket if it is still owed by Teljoy.

Very disappointed with their service and will never recommend them to anyone.
