Empty promises after malpresentation and late delivery

I am really unhappy with the service received from Teljoy and incompetence. My application was declined but then I received an email with "Congratulations, your application have be pre-approved". This created the expectation that I will be able to rent what I needed but seems like it was a misrepresentation. The sales consultant took 2days to respond and I only got a non committal sorry. I cannot understand how you can confirm that this was approved but then go back on this by just not answering and shrugging it off. According to me, and the basic law you cannot promise something and not deliver. This sales agent still have not responded again even after a few attempts from me to get an answer with the excuse that they are a few consultants and some applications get duplicated. This is not acceptable especially not when the expectation was raised with false promises.

I received promises for the above review to make up for the empty promises and late delivery but no promises was met. Thus empty promises and their malpresentation was just shrugged off as if it is not an offence as per the Consumer Act making their internal problem the problem of their customers. I do not look forward to doing business with them for the next 36 months.
