Contradictory Communication

I app**** for an item from Teljoy. I received a text to say that I was preapproved and another text to say that my application was unsuccessful. Then I received multiple emails saying that I was preapproved, I needed to upload some documents as well as the my application was unsuccessful email. Very confusing! I emailed Teljoy Sales to try established what was actually taking place and why I was receiving so many confusing and contradictory message. The response was that my application was unsuccessful and I must check my credit score. No mention as to why I'd recieved all the various messages. Also I looked at my credit reports and found nothing out of the ordinary. So with no real explanation from Teljoy I am clueless as to what actually happened with my application.
