Cancellation
Disappointed in Teljoy. They offer Cancellation at anytime without penalties, however they tell me that if your contract is less than 6 months old you have to pay R500 penalty for every item. This is not on.

We would like to clarify the matter. Please kindly refer back to your signed contract and our Terms and Conditions, specifically Clause 3.2, which states:
"Teljoy reserves the right to charge a reasonable collection and administration fee for collecting the Equipment if the rental is terminated prior to the elapse of six months from the date of installation. This fee is agreed to be an amount of R500 per unit for all units other than laptops, and in the case of laptops, the charge will be R1,000 per unit."
This clause forms part of the agreement you accepted when entering into the rental. While we do offer cancellation at any time, this early termination fee applies only within the first six months to help cover the administrative and logistical costs involved.
