70 Year Old Granny ****** by Rent to buy option which runs forever unless you stop it yourself/

My mother has just passed on and i am clearing her accounts. I have come across a teljoy contract of rent to buy for a Samsung 32"tv signed in Nov 2011 with a monthly rent to buy cost of R299. IN the small print the contract states that after a period of 35 months the client is "ENTITLED TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO ACTIVATE THE BUY OPTION" SO to start with she had already paid R10385 zar for a TV with a brand new value of R3000. And if that s not bad enough, because the clause says after 35 months the client has the right to exercise the ownership clause it means IF YOU DO NOT PHYSICALLY WRITE TO THEM TO TAKE THE OPTION YOU CONTINUE PAYING THE 299 PER MONTH. Its not automatic you have to apply for it. Meaning until now mum has paid a total of R32292.00 zar for a 3k TV, they have ****** her of @@000 zar by not telling her she had paid up in full. NICE WAY TO TREAT A &70 year old widow hey
