SHOCKINGLY "PROFESSIONAL" FIRST FOR WOMAN / TELESURE CLAIM
This review is a clear cut example of insurance companies attempts at defeating many South Africans through gross malpractice.
My 6 month ordeal (and counting), started June 11th 2018 where I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident with a First for Woman / Telesure insured person which nearly costed my life and completely totaled my 2008 Suzuki SV 650 S motorcycle, literally my only means of transport to and from work (50km each day / 250km a week travelling).
Soon after recovering from my injuries, July 17th 2018 I first made contact with Telesure and it's representative call center. As instructed I obtained ample documentations, quotations, witness statements, accident report, valuation & photographs etc. which was compiled and supp**** to Telesure June 30th 2018 to the following email 3rd Party submission address ********** Due to the highly demanding industry I am in, I was only able to follow up on the case Aug 22, 2018. In noway was I ever contacted between June 30th - Aug 22 2018. Wed, Sep 12 I was only then contacted by Koketso and soon thereafter Enid. Sent as a simple Google Drive link attachment followed by WeTransfer to ********** ********** I once again supp**** all documentation to Koketso/Enid, I was told the documents weren't accessible. This accessibility issue on the part of Telesure 'Professionals' went frustratingly back and fourth for days.
I as the third party (understandably frustrated) needing to call countless times on the status of the case and whether the documents has indeed been investigated. Consistently calling at my personal expense I was either 'professionally' pushed from pillar to post or told an assessor is needing to further look into the matter, these were clear holding tactics or a ploy. With a clear lack of both professionalism and urgency on the part of Telesure Representative/Assessor, I clearly communicated to Telesure representatives telephonically/email a compliant will be lodged with Telesure complaints department and/or SAIA.
Wed, Oct 31, 2018 Enid provided me a proposed letter titled LIMITED RELEASE 3RD PARTY [PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE] AS COMBINED The shocking proposed amount based on the ample evidence provided, witness/accident statements, photographs, valuation of the motorcycle is nowhere close to my damages that I have incurred as a result of the insured's negligence. I have recently received a email notification from Vhutshilo the claim its now closed once Telesure has received the signed LIMITED RELEASE form, this after clearly communicating my shock and unwillingness to sign the proposed amount.
I would strongly NOT recommend First for Woman / Telesure based on my personal experience as well as individuals I have encountered insured by them.
Further action will be taken!
