BUDGET INSURANCE ARE ******** AND ******

i took out my insurance with Budget. i was told my phone is covered for R10000 and if claiming this amount i'd pay R1800 in excess. My phone got water damaged and was quoted R2099 to repair the phone and now they want me to R1700. whats the point of having insurance if im paying the amount equivalent to my excess? if thats the case id rather put a claim through for the 10k and pay R1700. but the claims department says theres nothing they can do. <br> <br> id rather just cancel my policy with Budget if this is how you people operate. like ****** and ********. <br> <br> R1700 to repair a phone that costs R2100???
