bad service

On the 30th of April i logged a claim for my handset that has been insured since 2007. The handset was not switching on. During this period(21 days) no one from telesure bothered to call me and tell me the status of my claim. Today when i call in they tell me that my handset might not be covered because of gradual deterioration. Telesure has been collecting premiums from for over seven years for this handset. Do they not know the lifespan of a cellphone if they collect premiums for the same handset for this long and when it doesn't switch on now they want to tell me it doesn't work because it's old and they cannot fix or replace it? I feel that insurance companies are always looking fir a reason to ***** a client over. Now that my phone is broken they want to tell me that i must throw it away bcos it's too old and cannot be covered by insurance. During the time they were collecting premiums they didn't care to check the possible life span of the handset. They were more than happy to continue collecting my premiums. Now that there's a problem they are telling me to go to hell
