Unfair treatment by TeleperfomanceSA
Apart from the gross human rights of agents that are being infringed on a daily basis, Teleperfomance SA has proven that the lives and safety of their staff is none of their concern, before last week Friday the taxi association announced that they would launch a strike as of Monday-Tuesday and Teleperfomance is hounding agents with multiple calls asking if they can make it to work in the midst of a strike. Busses are being burnt and drivers are being beaten up yet they still want to operate like it’s business as usual. Many could attest to how much of a horrible company Teleperfomance SA is. The UK and SA CEO Gary Slade is always going on about how much the company cares and has everyone’s well-being at their best of interest but today they have proven to us that we are on our own. Management has failed to stand in solidarity with the agents especially knowing that some of them live in these areas and have seen how people who do not have their own personal cars are affected. This strike issue was also brought to their attention by various agents on time and no alternative measures were given. Now if the tables were turned, the UK agents would have been excused from work and we would be doing all their work for them as per usual when they go MIA. Teleperfomance SA has shown us that we are just a number to them. All they care about is retaining their clients at the expense of the backbone of this institution which are the agents. I would never recommend this company even to my worst enemy because not only does the unfair treatment kill you mentally and emotionally but now they want us to be brave and kill ourselves all in the name of keeping a positive SLA.
