I was told that this company was offering a free service to update my company details. I agreed and 10 days later received a non-VAT invoice with no letterhead for R12 000 which was payable within 7 days. No proof of services rendered was shown. There were also no banking details available. When I spoke to accounts they just interrupted me the whole time stating that my Attorney should contact them. My Auditors looked up their company details and according to their listing details they are registered as a VAT vendor. The invoice that I received had no VAT number on it. This company that operates out of Westville has been in operation since 19 Feb 2019. Do not be intimidated by them, its worth getting an Attorney involved as I am of the opinion that their bullying tactics and threats to hand you over are not within the law.
