There will also be an attachment of the form to fill out and submit to them, the headline is 'Teledialkom Directory: Listed Under: Telephone Directory', if you scroll down to section 'C1. Agreement' and try read the fine print which is under 'C2. Authorized Signatory.' its so small that you just want to ignore it, sign it, pay the total amount and then send it back to them. Only then do you realize you have been caught out. The fine print reads as follows: 'the undersigned, declares, agrees and confirms that: I am authorizing you to list our company’s/ies’ details on your website in a category called “Bold Listing” which entitles me/us to a 4 line listing on your website. I agree and accept the information provided above is correct and can be used as my final proof. I accept the product provided is (online advertising only) and I am aware Teledialkom Pty Ltd is an independent online advertising company who is not affiliated to Telkom or Trudon. I am aware this is a 12-month contract and will renew yearly unless cancelled in writing and acknowledged by Teledialkom Pty Ltd in writing. Advertising is to be carried out for the above mentioned company as per the details provided above. I am aware the total amount payable on your invoice is ten thousand seven hundred and eighty eight rand only (R10788.00). I am aware this contact is not subject to cancellation. Should I request cancellation within five working days of the agreement signed I am aware the cancellation fee will be fifty percent on the total cost of the full value of the contract for cost incurred in processing the initial processing . Delayed payments will incur penalty fees after 30 days and will be handed over for legal collection including legal costs on an attorney and client scale. This is pretty much identical to the White Business Pages **** that was doing the rounds from about 2***, I decided to play dumb (Like I couldn't zoom in to read the fine print) and emailed the company back asking them to send me the fine print in a bigger font as I couldn't read it. I received no response, they phone me back after about a week and asked if I received the email, I told them I did and I did reply asking them to send me the fine print in bigger font so I can read it as I cant sign something I cant read/agree to. The lady on the other line became rude and said she would forward it to me, that was a week ago and I haven't received anything. Iam convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is these very same people who ran/run the White Business Pages **** too. Please guys be careful, do not sign anything unless you know for sure they are legit and you can read the full fine print so they dont catch you out.
