Untrue Finding

I bought a cell phone from incredible connections centurion mall in 2020 during their black Friday sale (A Samsung A51) – R 5799.99. On January the 15th 2022, the phone screen blacked out. On the 16th I tried to switch on the phone again and it did not. I used my house phone and called incredible connections and they advised me to check my warranty booklet and if my phone is still valid for warranty repairs, I can bring it in store with my slip and the phone box.The warranty booklet stated 24 months (2020 - 2022). 17th January 2022(Sunday), I went to the store and gave my phone in. I did not have a slip, so I provided my bank statement, the store was able to reprint the slip for me. The technician stated it would take 21 working days. The consultant said I must keep the box. On the 1st of February 2022, I received an SMS, confirming that my repair has been logged: ICSAMS – ***7 – 3205, which I waited for feedback. On 14th February 2022 (day 21) I still had not received any feedback, so I called the store and they stated that I had to pay approximately R 4700.00 for repairs, my warranty was cancelled. A quote was emailed to me @***. The quote had a list of what I assume might have been tampered with. They stated that there was an unauthorized tampering (might not be the correct term they used). I asked them who tampered with the phone because I had brought it into the store, and I did receive a response. I then laid a complaint, and a new report was done but still with the same feedback. The phone was in store for almost two weeks prior to me receiving confirmation that the phone repair is logged. This is my sworn statement that I did not tamper with the phone in anyway. I declare that I read the warranty and found it fit to take it where I bought it.
