Onbudsman

<p>Our House roof collapesed in Aug 16. We were building an additional section to the East side of my</p> <p>House. I used referred builders by the local Building inspector. Something went wrong when this builder packed the tiles on the existing section and the roof collapsed. Luckily no one was injured but left me with extensive damages. I called for an assessor who gave a very bad report to ABSA and were putting all the blame on me. It was an accident, The builder did it as per the Norm. ABSA approved my loan for this house without any inspection. They sold me a policy were i was not informed with record of advice. Absa refused to assist me and we were stranded with a destroyed house. No help no sympathy. We went through a tuff time and still suffer with a financial lost. i tried to go over to a different insurer early in the year but ABSA did not do anything to answer my corrospondance. I could have been in a beteer position with another insurer. The sad part is trying to use the Onbud but it was evern a worst expierince and i was really treadted very rude. WHY Paying Insurance ?</p> <p> </p> <p>.</p>
