Tekkie Town never again BAD QUALITY SHOES

Never again Tekkie Town, cheap quality and no customer service !

I bought a pair of Mens Asics Gel-Trail Scout from Tekkie Town about a year ago. Only used them in the morning to walk my dog for 1 hour, most of the day I wear CROCS or for my work I use my Merrells. After a few months the one shoe started tearing off in the front right hand top, so I brought them back to the shop in Riversdale.

A day later the sales chap informed me that my claim was declined by head office and that the damage is due to 'wear and tear'.

I honestly found that excuse pathetic, because none of my other shoes, not the Merrells or the New balance have had this sort of tearing apart. Frankly, its bad quality on the part of Asics Gel using cheap materials and Tekkie Town selling inferior quality products. On top of it, its disappointing that Tekkie Town not even offered a refund of 50% or a credit to buy something.

Learned my lesson, I won't buy from Tekkie Town ever agsin! They have that typical South African get rich quick mentality and do not understand customer service!
