Tekkie Town cares only about their profits not about their costumers safety

I complained on Hellopeter before, but I feel it is important that people know what they let themselves in for when purchasing shoes from Tekkie Town. I bought trail running shoes from them and discovered that they slip on wet surfaces. I returned them (within 6 months as per the guidelines of the consumer protection act). All they said was that it is not a manufacturing fault and wouldn’t refund me. They couldn’t care less about my safety or the fact that I couldn’t wear the product. On top of that I was treated like with the utmost disrespect by the regional manager. I was told that they can’t resell the shoes and I must understand that it’s a loss for them. And that you can’t buy a car and return it 4 months later cause you don’t like it. This means that they think I just didn’t like the shoes anymore. They obviously do not care about their customers but they look out for their bottom line only. I have never been so insulted.
