Well Tekkie town in boksburg tried very hard to assist but Charlotte at head office didn't care ! There was an ad in their window that said : FREE BOKS JERSEY WITH PURCHASE VALUED AT R599 So when we got R660 worth of goods and then asked them to honor their advertising to get the springboks jersey we were told that you have to buy oasis shoes to get the jersey. I pointed the advert out to them and that is where things went south!! Quickly. The manager told me to contact customer care services and explain my position !! I refused to use my phone and customer care was contacted by him directly. Simphiwe, the manager, who explained everything and they demanded an email which he did. Eventually, this after trying to get this resolved and being in the shop for 1and a half hours I demanded to get hold of head office. Charlotte from head office told me that the area manager, Thabiso, who is in George is in, a meeting can't take my call and oh the CEO Riaan v Rooyen also won't take my call. Then result was that they will give me 10% discount on the goods but we cannot get the rugby jersey!!! Ridiculous !!! As the jersey was the reason for this whole exercise!!! So in other words, we, the customers are not important enough to be spoken to by the area manager, nor the CEO. This eventually took two hours and we left the store without the rugby jersey and a little boy who is turning 10 is going to be very disappointed.
