Takkie town jeffreys bay disgusting service by manager.

I am juan kramer from jeffreys bay, on the 15th july i purchased 2pairs of jack parcel sneakers for R400 as part of a promotion. I took the takkies home and the following week when i wanted to putt the first pair on the wear, i noticed some loose stitching on the inside of the 1st pair of takkies which was black and white slip on. I immediately took the takkies back the following day and got a refund of R200. The second pair of sneakers i putt on the same week which was maroon and white lace ups. I wore the sneakers for one day and when i wanted to putt it on again the following day, i noticed both soles at the heel was worn off, and the at the heel of the right sneaker there was a tear. I immediately phoned takkie town in jeffreys bay fountains mall were i bought it and told them what happened, and they saidvi must bring the sneakers back so they could see. I took the sneakers back the following day which was Friday the 24th July 2020. I showed the sneakers to the manager( an arrogant lady) of takkie town and she phoned the branch manager and showed the branch manager (also a woman) some pictures of the sneakers, while i was waiting instore. They eventually got back to me and told me that unfortunately they cant help me because it is not stitching and glue and told me other b.s about their policies that dont cover the problem i had. I told the manager that i had the takkies on once and it looked liked it had been worn a month or so, i even showed her the slip as proof, but she refused to help me, she even **** and said i had an attitude but i reacted like any normal person would because for my money i got defective sneakers and now they are making it my problem, she tried every trick in the book not to help me and to make me feel like i am the one at fault where i just wanted my money back or an exchange for something else. She refused to help.i phoned her later that day to tell her that i am not going to leave it like that and i dont want the defective sneakers they sold me. She asked me if i could come back the following day and then she will help me, i said ok, and i went back the following day but she was not there, the person in charge( a guy) said she was off on leave on that day. She **** to me. But i spoke to the Branch manager myself over the phone and she helped me to get an exchange after an unnecessary incompetence from the manager. I will never buy anything from takkie town in Jeffreys bay ever again because they are ****** that take your money and sell you cheap knock offs, and for the manager i have no words, i dont know how a big retail franchise employ someone who is so rude, so *********** and lie to your face. I am absolutely appalled by their service, it is disgusting.
