Solomon Tekkies, refuse to honour warrantee

I have bought Solomon tekkies from Tekkie Town in Mall at Reds almost 8 months ago, the shoes were just used as casual shoes and weren't exposed to any harsh conditions at all. The material in both shoes started tearing by my small toe when I had them for about 5 months old and now has completely torn. I took them to Tekkie town and although it is clearly a manufacturing defect they refused to refund or replace the shoes. On the Solomon website it clearly states that their shoes come with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY FROM DATE OF PURCHASE

I would appreciate it if Tekkie Town would honour this warrantee in full
