Return policy questionable ???

Poor service return.I purchased a Nike slide and after a few months the stitching came loose I then contacted there head office and I was told to take the product back to the store. When I got to the store I was told the online and instore policy differs and I cannot be assisted with the return. What a waste of time and energy.So as far as I know Nike products come with a 2 year warranty how is this possible that this retailer cannot assist me with a faulty products ? So my question is … are these original genuine products that this retailer is selling ?
