misleading business practise

<p>Good evening. On Saturday just before the store closed I purchased 2 pairs of shoes- R2 000. I enquired if I could return if not suitable as it was not for myself. The answer was yes. Nowhere in the store it states otherwise. This evening after work I went to exchange the one pair for a larger size and wanted to return the cheaper pair. I was told that they do not refund I must read my slip. I told them that it was not acceptable business practise. The staff called the area manger whom was extremely rude and refused to assist, They called a 2nd time- the lady refused to speak to me- the staff member told her that I was rude and also impossible. I left the shoes at the store. I was given another slip for the exchange it did not show the other pair of R600.00- I told the sales lady this and was told that it is not true. I demanded both slips- I now have them. Tekkie town has the shoes and as a consumer it is my right to be refunded. I left my name and contact details- I said the the area manager must contact me as her message to me was that she is too busy now to attend to me and when she is at the store I must come back! Pathetic- I refuse. I will never purchase from any Tekkie town ever again. </p>
