False Promotions/Bad Customer Service

On the 5th March 2023 my son bought a pair of Nike soccer boots which qualified him to get a soccer ball He was never given the ball, was told that the cashier forgot to scan it but he can come back at a later stage to fetch it (we will owe you the ball, the cashier told him) Upon being informed of this I called the shop on that same day to understand what transpired, Karabo told me that she told my son (we will owe you the ball, you can come fetch it at a later stage/date) but did not specify when exactly should he fetch the ball, I said I will fetch it the next day Today (23 March 2023) I went to the shop the get the ball, Karabo told me that they can't give me the ball because the promotion has ended

I'm so disappointed 😞 about this whole matter because, this could have been rectified on the spot if I was the one buying the soccer boots Karabo and team, it's not my fault that you did not pay attention to detail when processing the transaction, what kind of shop runs promotions only to reap off their customers. Karabo, you took the ball for your kids🤔 It was not the 1st time I buy from you but was definitely the LAST and will make sure that I tell others about this BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
