False in-store advertising
If there was a negative star I would give Tekkie Town one. I bought a shoe from Tekkie Town in Sable Square, Cape Town the shoe on their price tag it said it's a uni*** shoe so I did not check everything else on the shoe as I saw the tag that say "uni***". After wearing the shoe I noticed when I struggle to take it off that on the thing inside the shoe with size details that the shoe was actually a women's size. went to the store to request for them to do something as it was not my fault but their false advertising that lead to me buying the shoe. When people buy shoes they don't remove shoe laces to check for information inside the shoe. They did not want to replace the shoe as they said it was not in a condition for them to sell. My question to them was 'who should take the loss for their false advertising between me and them?'. I am not happy at all with how the manager handled the case. The shoes are still on display at the shop as uni*** shoes in their shop even after I had raised the issue. It was my first time buying a shoe from Tekkie Town and I regret going there especially after seeing their reviews on Facebook and here I lost hope and I'm wondering how our government allows the shop to continue trading.
