A ware of goods purchased at Tekkie Town

I recently bought Reebok shoes at Tekkie Town. They are trail running shoes and one would therefor expect them to have more grip then say an average pair of road running shoes? It turned out that they are extremely slippery on wet surfaces and I fell one day on a wet walkway. I decided to return them, but I am being told that it is not a manufacturing fault and they can not take them back. Did anyone test them? Did they actually put them on and walked with them on a wet surface? No, why would they. Maybe the shoes aren’t original Reebok shoes? Beware consumers! You may end up with a pair of useless shoes if you shop at Tekkie Town.
