The TEFL Level 5 course from The TEFL Academy helped me a lot. I honed my skills in lesson planning, teaching grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, ... Especially impactful was the presentation of diverse teaching methods, which were buttressed by real-world examples. I love the fact that there were videos, interactive exercises and text throughout the course. I also appreciated a test at the end of each unit and the 3 assignments. They force you to show what you learned, which is quite beneficial. Finally, The TEFL Academy provides us, learners, with cover letter and CV templates and job boards specialized in English teacher jobs. I find that very helpful.
