Level 5 TEFL Course

I've always loved languages and cultures and wanted to find a course that would give me the most confidence and opportunities to set out as new TEFL teacher. After a lot of research the TEFL Academy definitely won out for me. The accreditation for the course is internationally recognised and was exactly what I wanted to open doors for me in the future. If I want to travel and teach, I'm backed up wherever I choose to go. The Level 5 TEFL course was really well organised into 10 units and each was broken down into nice manageable chunks. At no point did the course feel overwhelming. It was very easy to manage time and work though the course at my own pace. The lessons were really interesting and gave access to further reading and resources that were extremely useful for the lessons, assignments and future work. I feel very well prepared! The assignments had very clear step by step instructions that made them easy to follow and complete. They are very thorough and tested my knowledge on everything I'd learnt, putting it into practical use in a way that I can easily refer to later. The assessors comments were also brilliant, they really broke down the assignments to give me confidence in what I'd done and gave their own personal advice and ideas (from experience) on what I could do in the future to improve in my techniques even more. I have also enjoyed taking part in the 10hr Teaching Practice Course. It was a great opportunity to get to know other students and get some great ideas from Q&As with one of the TEFL Academy teachers. I'm now enjoying the free top-up course and the other two top-up courses to specialise my qualification further. All in all, this was a brilliant course, I feel very well prepared, and would definitely recommend the course for anyone looking for a career as a TEFL teacher.
