A great learning experience to gain practical skills

My experience with the TEFL Academy was a great experience overall. The online system was easy to use and follow and all instructions and expectations were made clear from beginning to end. The subject content was quite rich and all mostly necessary, however there was repetition sometimes within the videos accompanying the lessons, and the actually lesson content. However, all the templates and resources for lesson planning, and lesson preparation were extremely helpful and will definitely be useful in my teaching journey. Although the assignment feedback was detailed in explaining what was missed, I do wish that an actual figure or percentage would be used to show exactly how much was missed and actually achieved. This is just my personal opinion.

The observed teaching practice was a great addition to the course as it allowed for interaction with a working professional, as well as other students. I did feel that the assessment part of the day did not feel very authentic and it felt a bit too easy. Still, it was a good experience overall.
