Salton not so reliable as expected

After buying a Salton Wall heater- and drilling the holes in the wall according to booklet specifications, with the help of the foam template provided- I discovered that the template does not actually fit onto the actual heater, and had to re-drill 3 of the 4 holes. Why are *********** people in charge of making products??? How many other people are having to re-do the whole process because of Salton's poor design??
