Russells hobbs appliances doesnt last?poor quality

I wouldn't reccomend Russells Hobbs,bought kettle n toaster set now the kettle stopped working,i contacted russels hobbs they told me ill be liable for repairs because i lost the slip,im very dissapointed cause i used to love the brand n recommended it,im done with Russells Hobbs
