russell hobbs ****py microwave

does this company make microwaves to last exactly two years? i bought a microwave from russell hobbs two years and two months ago and it has now given in. i obviously have no warranty and have to pay R500 to have it fixed. like a fool i,instead went to buy another one and,lo and behold,three weeks later it is already overheating and stops working when hot???????what gives????
