Russell Hobbs have false advertising.

I have bought a new Russell Hobbs blender from Game with advertising on the box of a powerful 1000Watt motor. On month 13 the motor burned out and since I’m electrical inclined, I inspected the inside to only found a 550Watt motor.

I contacted Russell Hobbs and they emailed me that I’m right and the technician gave me the following info. I quote Russell Hobbs "If the blender is used with the jug empty at maximum setting, the measured power is 490 - 530W and the maximum measured rotational speed is 21340rpm. If the jug is filled with water the measured power is 540 - 560W and the maximum measured rotational speed will decrease up to 20855rpm. "

This was misrepresentation by Russell Hobbs since there where many other 550W blenders on the same shelf at Game for a lesser price. I specifically bought this blender, not for the name, but because of the advertised "Powerful 1000Watt Motor". If it was really a 550watt motor, it would have probably still worked.

The public should know that Russell Hobbs don’t give you what they advertise to give you. In opinion this is misrepresentation that constituted *****.

Don't buy Russell Hobbs, as they cannot be trusted for what it say on the box.
