RUSSEL HOBBS PRODUCTS
Stay as far away from any Russel Hobbs products as you can. We bought 4 of their new tower heaters at Makro Pietermaritzburg today. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAD A BASE PLATE PACKAGED!!!!!! The thing cannot stand without a base plate. A year ago we bought 3 of their floor heaters - NOT ONE WORKS ANYMORE. 2 years ago we bought one of their glass kettles - in less than a year the lid mechanism was stuffed. Dismal, ****py quality control - if any at all.

We were not aware with the tower heaters coming without base plates. We would like you to advise the model number so that we can investigate on this with the store.
Regarding your floor heaters and glass kettle, please note that Russell Hobbs products have 2 year warranty (1 year retail and 1 year extended warranty only if you register online).
If you have lost your proof of purchase or you unit is out of warranty you are welcome to also take your unit to one of our Service Department near your area. Our neighbours have had a similar experience with a brand new coffee machine and also returned it to the retailer and bought another brand, which is working perfectly
