Russel Hobbs, high prices and poor quality

I purchased 2 x Russel Hobbs Eco fan heaters from Pick n Pay a year ago and paid more than double the price of other brands on offer. I assumed that given the price I was paying, that I was getting a superior quality product that will last for more than just one winter. Within a year both heaters started tripping my power and the controls started to become faulty. Soon after, both heaters packed up and I was left without heaters in my kids rooms in the midst of winter. The product has a 2 year warranty, but Russel Hobbs says that it is the stores responsibility and they refuse to assist. Russel Hobbs is an over priced, poor quality brand and should not be allowed to be sold in our stores.
