Quality not what it was

Russell hobbs has always been my preferred fan choice, up till now. My house shape together with a spouse who suffers chronic sinus results in more fans, very little aircon. So the Russell Hobbs brushed aluminium and Copper pedestal fans and pedestal non oscillating fan, using the 50 watt high velocity motor have always worked very well for me. I have Midea, Solenco, Defy, LASA, Goldair and Salton fans however on 10 to 12 hours use, I have always felt the Russell Hobbs was the better quality unit. To my disappointment..... Over Black Friday the LED pedestal fan went on sale at Makro and the oscillating floor fan at Geewiz. So I decided I was 3 fans short....calculated power consumption versus listed airflows and thought " Ag we good to go". Takeallot delivered a fan made by Globe lighting (2nd unit but never heard the name before) then Makro delivered the Led pedestal fan and three days later the oscillating floor fan arrived from Geewiz. I assembled the Globe lighting fan....10 mins...60w motor. Very little resonance, noisy, moves the air, basic but works effectively. I then moved to the LED pedestal fan (Russell Hobbs). Allot of plastic, fits together easy enough, top blade cover was a little harsh to snap into place. Turned on. Again very little shake or resonance and tested led ....awesome looking fan. Then saw a button I didn't see in the advert....oscillate. pressed it. Fan turned left to right and I thought bonus....I didn't know it was an oscillating fan. However on 3rd oscillation it got stuck, then started moving and stuttered along left to right. The upright pole moves abit when oscillating so the plastic whilst strong is not rigid enough in the base. And since day 1 the fan stutters along left to right on oscillations. Not so bad till led is engaged at night and ocd kicks in. So lastly was the oscillating floor fan. And this was to me my xmas gift. 120w power should just blow the heat right out the room. So I unbox, assemble speed controller to rear fit the 2 plastic angle adjuster to the sides. We good to go. Plug in turn on speed 1 and the motor comes alive. The fan vibrates but not hecticly but enough to agitate.Then the plastic adjuster fell off. Then the second one. Then turned off fan, it shook in resistance, and remounted the plastic adjusters. Turned back on, the fan shook some more and the plastic adjuster decided it was happier on the floor. The fan pushes a very large amount of air. So ran the fan around 3 hrs, turned off....fan shook and wobbled and then rattled to a stop. And so since day 1 fan vibrates or shakes on start, shakes on stop and does a light jig back and forthwhilst running, and at random times throws in a rattle sound for good measure. Now to my disappointment. Even on sale these units cost hundreds more than Globe lighting and Lasa, and Goldair. The fans are very elegantly designed and finished (which is what I like) and then in that process the technical aspects somehow lose that attention to detail. For me there is nothing worse than a fan that's unbalanced on rotation...it's just freaking annoying. And a floor fan that refuses to keep its plastic bits on.... Yes, both warranties were loaded, so both according to OEM covered for 2 years, but let me tell you I just find it such a disappointment that a basic fan that Globe Lighting supply has equivalent power, both consumption and airflow output, may not be pretty but shakes nearly zero, does not wobble nor stutter. And costs way less. The fan was not returned to Geewiz as they requested info, then video. Then they want to collect and assess and then bill me for courier if found not faulty. This after being repacked ready for collection days ago. Guys it's a fan, a fan turns on, runs does not shake nor make weird noises and drop plastic adjusters. So if the video is not explanation enough well then sending it in for you to look at won't accomplish anything. The Led pedestal fan is in use, i just dont activate the oscillating function. This may be a case of mass production so it's built to shake, but then I think it's time I change to Globe lighting, Midea or Defy. Lastly, last week I tried using online site query for Russell Hobbs SA. Emails bounced back, site was unreachable, hence my "review here." Yes it's a fan, yes they make noise, yes there are very few models that run without some sort of resonance or vibration, but I don't buy a premium brand to have it run like a cheap one. And in this case the cheap one, whilst truly basic delivers on par airflow, no resonance and no stutter on oscillating.
