Pressure cooker ' exploded '!! WARNING!!

I bought a Tedelex 11L pressure cooker for my wife as a present at Makro Alberton about 4 years ago.<br> <br> Yesterday evening(3/7/2015) at about 7pm,whilst my wife was busy cooking dinner,we experienced a huge 'explosion' in the kitchen.<br> <br> By further investigation we realised that the pressure regulating valve was blown off the cooker.The nut that was supposed to keep the pressure valve in place,unscruwed (negligence or designing flaw from the manufacturer ?)<br> Needles to say the dinner was a total l flop.<br> THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED SERIOUS INJURY!!<br> Please check your Tedelex pressure cooker.It could be a timebomb!!
