No responce, then inquiry met with rudeness!

Called for a quote to repair my sandwich press as they seem to have a poor hinge system and was told that it will be repaired while I wait as it is a small, quick repair, costing minimal. When I got to Pinetown I was told to leave it in as they will assess and revert to me with a quotation. Bearing in mind, it is a very far drive from where I live, I viewed this as a disappointment and a waste of time and petrol as I was told otherwise telephonically and didn't expect that I would eventually have to make a far return to collect the item. To this day I have never been contacted by the company! I took the initiative to call about a week and a half ago, so as to inquire about the quotation. I was met by an arrogant lady who was very rude, rushing to end the call while saying that they would let me know what the repair quote is \when they are ready". That has never happened!
