Home of Defunct Brands: Russell Hobbs

Purchased a Russell Hobbs toaster and kettle combo two years ago, as a replacement for a similar looking Mellerware kettle. What a mistake! The Russell Hobbs kettle did not even last half as long. First the black plastic on the lid started breaking off. Now it no longer heats up whatsoever. Very sad for what was once a premier brand whose very name meant "Built to Last."
