False Advertising

In 2019 I bought a Russell hobbs 2 in 1 kettle which I will forever regret my intire life. The problem started in mid November 2019 where it used to malfunctioning for some time giving wrong reading but never took it seriously up until on the 5 Mach 2021 i had to Twitter them and they have this to say and i copy and paste Hi Kelvin, thank you for getting in touch.

Which they then advised me to registered the product on there system cause they could not pick it up on there system which I did then few day down the line it went off completely off not lighting at all I then email them with grief. They then informed me that yes it has 2 year warranty but you did not take the second year warranty confusing concept. And I cant even send it to them for assessment rather I have only one option of sending it for repair at my cost. So I asked what happen to the 2 year was it misinformed your potential customers. Why don't you have faith in your product at list assess it and allow the 2 year warranty practical. This is so wrong surely they knew there product won't make it to second year and they work around people ********. I have so much faith in you product but you just shut it down. On the market there are products that are going for R150 but I decided to go for Russell Hobbs even though it was on sale I still bought it for R759 with never lasted 2 years this is so demoralizing
